Once in a while I meet a flower that can have me at a loss for words. Sometimes there are strains that fit me so perfectly they get me tongue-tied, and all I can think to write is, “well, this bud is just straight fire; enough said.” However, “trust me, it’s dank,” doesn’t really make for the most entertaining read, therefore, I will try my best to actually articulate more details about this pure and perfect Kush.
Purple Kush is a no-frills, all-indica strain that simply just gets you right where you need to be. I personally think that any sufferers of chronic stress, pain, or insomnia should consider making this strain one of the first that they reach for. For these types of conditions PK gets straight to the point and overwhelms the user with relaxation, analgesia, and finally, sedation and sleep. The effects are not so cerebrally engaging, and one may function with a relatively alert focus and clear head during the initial moments of the high. In place of cerebral stimulation, Purple Kush comes instead with some trippy psychedelic euphoria, which can make experiences like eating or listening to music, extra exceptional. The lovely body-focused effects may also slap a stubborn smile on your face, or lead you towards light-hearted laughter.
Purple Kush has many of the attributes that you would expect in a classic Kush strain, as she is characterized by dense deep green buds and pungent earthy, woody, and spicy aromas. However, PK also may come seasoned with purple leaves and a tinge of fruity grape flavour, which sets her slightly apart from her other Hindu and Afghani relatives. So, although she is potent, her palate is not too harsh or overwhelming.
As a medical user, there aren’t enough good things that I can say about Purple Kush. Her powerful effects and her pleasant bag-appeal rightfully earn this strain a secure place among cannabis royalty.
