Jack Herer boasts the namesake of one of the greatest hemp and cannabis activists to ever live. Wanting to pay tribute to Herer’s tireless advocacy for decriminalization, Sensi Seeds titled one of their greatest cannabis creations after the politician and author. This allowed for the “Emperor of Hemp” and his efforts to educate about the uses of the plant to gain even more notoriety, via the proliferation of this legendary cultivar of cannabis.

I had a plan to write a lot more about Jack Herer, both the man and the cannabis strain. However, I am starting off by publishing only this overview, and this is because all I currently have left of my Jack is a little crumpled bud that I bought in Vancouver, way too long ago.

Luckily, Jack is among the most popular cultivars to ever be bred, and it should be no problem to find this flower again, whenever I am ready to write in more detail. Whether it be in the recreational, medical, legal, or illegal markets, Jack Herer is one of the most widely known strains of cannabis, and is suitable for a diverse set of users.

This flower has an absolutely delicious potpourri of scents and flavours. Despite my buds being ancient, I was able to keep them pretty moist using Boveda packs, and the flavour still remained delicious. My batch exhales with a sweet perfumed flowery taste, which is accented by woody and citrusy notes. The first of the felt effects is a sensation of absolute happiness that slaps not just a smile, but a full-blown toothy grin across my face. The energy, relaxation, and uplifted mind-state then makes it feel as if anything is possible. The later effects promote munchies and relaxation, although, usually remain stimulating enough to keep the user from falling asleep.

This absolutely perfect strain is well-titled after the signature of the late and great, Jack Herer.
