I was not planning on writing out a review for these buds. However, this flower ended up being so photogenic that I could not help but want to share. This multi-coloured stunner is literal weed-porn. Her dark green and purple leaves, juxtaposed against bright orange pistils, create a palette that could only be designed by nature. Although amazingly, this rainbow of colours is almost overshadowed by the piles and piles of crystals, that cover her from tip to stem.

Purple God is definitely a head-turner, although unfortunately, her physical appearance is pretty much where all of her appeal ends, at least when it comes to this particular batch. I started off with a half ounce of this flower, and even with all that weed, her jar barely had a smell. The taste is mild, although the undertone of grape candy is always delightfully welcomed. This flower is also a bit dried out and doesn’t burn super great. Ultimately, the effects themselves also aren’t very special, she simply possesses just a classic nondescript indica-dominant high.

Finally, a very unwelcome shock was that despite all of that frost, the effects did not end up being especially potent. I bought this strain as aid to falling asleep, so I was not too disappointed in the lack of excitement regarding the effects. What did disappoint, however, was that Purple God did not always put me to bed. Therefore, due to the inconsistent burn and medium potency, for me, this strain only truly gets the job done when I mix her up with some concentrates, like hash oil. Overall, I’m not too disappointed in my purchase, but despite her ability to outshine even my most glittery makeup palette, Purple God is not a favourite.
